Upcoming Srivari Sri Balaji Temple at Srivaikuntam Complex,
Construction Update: The construction is moving in God Speed. The ceiling tiles are very similar to Thirumala and are getting ready to be shipped soon. The Kalharam Carving consists of 15 course. The first 5 course are nearing completions. They are Padmam Vari, Jagathi Vari, Kumuthaga Vari, Pattigai Vari, Vedikai Vari. Staring next week the following courses will be carved - Padma Vari, Kalasa Vari, Palagai Vari, Pothigai Vari, Uthiram Vari. The total granite for the entire Kalhram ( garbhagraham ) is close to 350 stones that needs to be carved. The total weight is approximately 200 tons.The cost of just carving is Rs. 81,69,840. After completing this step, the carving for the Ananda Nilaya Vimanam will be started. The height of the Vimanum from the ground is 35 feet with a cost of $353,000. We will be using 400 granite stones and with a approximate weight of 250 tons.
